Flexible working brings business success

The Gardiner-Caldwell Group (TGCG) has introduced a voucher scheme that allows male and female employees with children up to 15 years of age to receive discounted costs for regular childcare. “We see flexible working and a focus on work–life balance as an important corporate commitment” said Kate Ward, HR Manager. “This new scheme allows employees even greater and more affordable flexibility in managing their childcare arrangements. We have a high return rate of new mothers, with 75% coming back on a part-time basis, with the option to return to full time employment at a later date”

Flexible working policies have resulted in a motivated workforce that is reaping benefits in terms of new business opportunities. Some 15% of employees have taken up the opportunity of part-time or regular remote working and this has proved to be a factor in attracting high performing individuals from other medical education agencies.

TGCG comprises three companies in Macclesfield as well as offices in Maidenhead, Central London, Mannheim (Germany) and New Jersey (USA). To find out more about TGCG ’s flexible career opportunities click on the link below.
